Highlands Homegrown Economy
Building a sustainable future for the Southern Highlands.
About the Project
The Highlands Homegrown Economy project aims to promote regenerative economic practices that empower communities, restore ecosystems, and build sustainable local economies.
A regenerative economy isn’t just good for nature—it’s place-based economic innovation. By prioritising regenerative and circular approaches in the economic section of the Community Strategic Plan, we unlock new economic opportunities and industries, attract investment, and create quality local jobs that build community wellbeing and resilience and environmental sustainability simultaneously.
